Rod is from Peru originally and for the past 3 years has supported communities of families and children in Peru as an annual fundraiser
This year we are raising money for the Children of the Rainbow Project (Fundación Niños del Arco Iris) based just outside the city of Cusco in a small mountainous town of Urubamba in Peru.
Here there is a community of 200 children who are victims of abandonment, child abuse and extreme poverty. This foundation has developed an environment for them where they feel safe, and also where they can study, eat healthily and get medical attention.
Like any non-profit project, funds are needed to continue supporting these homeless and orphaned children.
We are all going through a difficult year but if you are able to contribute just a small amount extra on top of your purchase your donation will go along way for these children.
50p from each sale of a box of cookies will go to help the children, however if you would like to donate more to this cause close to our hearts that would also be fantastic.
